I worked on effects for the Sunder player skill and its microtransactions. I had the opportunity to pitch and create my own MTX theme for the skill, and I also reworked the existing Gore Sunder MTX to work with the skill's new mechanics.
This is the rough concept I put together to pitch Glimmerwood Sunder, inspired by scenes from God of War and taking advantage of plant vine assets already created for Harvest League
I made the spikes for the skill by modeling tree trunk geometry around existing crystal assets, and I used UV scrolling to achieve the vine movement
